The Today Show and Food For Thought

If you have to work on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, it should probably involve making a positive impact. As a great man once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?'”

So, it was business as usual at the factory on Monday.

Well, almost.

The cameras seemed to shake things up a bit.

We got a visit from the Today Show for taping of a new segment called Food For Thought. What will be edited into a three-minute segment was an all-day popcorn affair, from popping to packing and all the magic in between.

A big piece of that magic is derived fromĀ Surfers Healing. We’ve mentionedĀ our awesome charity partner before. A couple times, actually. There’s a lot of magic to cover, guys.

Founders Izzy and Danielle Paskowitz brought their beachy vibes to sunless Chicago to talk about the incredible surf experience they give kids with autism and their families, and Izzy gave the lowdown on some of the big things we’re doing together this year.

The watch party starts at 8 AM on Thursday January 31st. Sure, that’s pretty bright and early, but it’s also a pretty good excuse to eat popcorn for breakfast… Not that you need one.
