Support the Good Boys of Canine Therapy Corps

We think that weekends are best spent dancing, doing good, and eating lots of popcorn. This Saturday evening, we got to do it all in the company of some of Chicago’s best therapy dogs at the Canine Therapy Corps Black & White Gala. This benefit raised funds and awareness for Chicago-based nonprofit Canine Therapy Corps (CTC), which provides free animal therapy services to help more than five thousand individuals with various physical and emotional needs.

The guests of honor strutted across the dance floor donning bowties and bedazzled collars, greeting us with wagging tails. We had the opportunity to meet and celebrate these dogs including Rocko, a tap-dancing German shepherd mix, and Jae, a Kelpie mix who loves cuddling and cheese.

We were so inspired by these therapy dogs and the volunteers of CTC who work in schools and hospitals to provide joy and connection to kids with special needs.

If you would like to help Canine Therapy Corps continue to provide these free services, you can use code DOGSTHATHEAL when you order popcorn and 50% of your purchase will go towards bringing the healing power of therapy dogs to even more individuals.
