Ciao, Chocolates

Greetings, friends. We have some good news and some bad news.

Which would you like to hear first?

The good. Nice! We like your optimism.

The good news is that the sun is shining, and we can finally make the switch from scarves and sweaters to shorts and sandals.

The bad news is that you only have until April 30th to place your final orders for those chocolate-y wonders, Paint it Milk Chocolate and It’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Time.

Please don’t hate on the messenger, because the good news and the bad news are closely related.

Since we don’t use tons of crazy ingredients to stabilize and quadruple the shelf life our chocolate drizzles, they don’t handle the summer heat very well. In fact, they completely liquefy when the weather is too warm. It’s sad, we know. But no one wants melty chocolate making their crunchy popcorn all soggy.

So, we’ll say goodbye for now, but don’t worry. They’ll be back in the fall before you can say “corduroy pants and flannel shirts!”

You’ll still have plenty of options to choose from while the heat is on. We’ll be bringing back two of our summertime favorites to keep things interesting while the chocolates are away.

Holla-Peno is every bit as bold and spicy as it sounds. It’s three-alarm crunchy. You have been warned.

Sweetie, You Salty brings a little bit of this and that to the table; it’s the perfect snack for when you can’t decide which craving you need to satisfy.

So, sit back. Enjoy the summer sun for the next few months. Work on your tan. Just when it starts to cool down, we’ll bring your chocolate-smothered favorites back… We promise.
